company overview

Swivel is the agentic execution layer for modern ad operations. We connect the sell side tech stack, align to operator goals, and execute decisions across platforms with speed and precision. As campaigns and complexity scale faster than teams can, Swivel gives operators leverage by turning their rules, logic, and strategy into continuous, accurate execution.

Teams stay fully in control. Swivel handles the repetitive, time-sensitive work that slows operators down, so they can focus on higher-value strategy and experimentation. The result: faster launches, cleaner operations, stronger performance, and revenue that grows without increasing headcount.

We’re building the future of ad ops: a connected, governed operating layer where strategy becomes action and teams can move with clarity, speed, and confidence.

Role Summary

Swivel is hiring a Director, Solutions Engineering based in the greater New York City area, reporting directly to the President & Co-Founder.

This role is the technical backbone of Swivel’s go-to-market motion. You will own the pre-sales engineering function globally, partnering with Sales, Partnerships, and Product to scope, design, and deliver solutions that help premium publishers and streaming platforms get more from their ad operations. You will work across our full product suite, including Configure, Control, and Command, and across every ad server and publisher platform we support, including FreeWheel, Magnite, Publica, and Google Ad Manager.

Beyond pre-sales, you will serve as a primary input into product roadmap strategy, translating what you learn in the field into requirements that shape what we build next. You will also support the Head of Partnerships in evaluating and scoping new partnership opportunities that require deep product and technical understanding. When deals close, you will play a hands-on role in new client implementation alongside our Sales and Account Services teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to live operation.

We are looking for someone who is fueled by innovation, thrives on collaboration, and is committed to seeing our clients succeed in their own businesses. You will embody the qualities of a self-starter, possess an insatiable curiosity, and welcome the opportunity to tackle new challenges head-on as we push the boundaries in the realm of AI-driven ad tech automation.
